this is hard

Gaah!
First post in 4! FOUR years! And it is so hard to start writing again. Actually, I just want to go do something else right now, like doing the dishes or taking the trash out or something. But I'm not going to. (And Josh won´t let me), Because I think I need this blog right now. To document, share things, journal and vent.Oh., and I might do some whining too .

Last post I wrote, i wasn´t even pregnant with Hedi yet., and now she is two and a half!
Well, time flies. We all know that.
She is such a happy little kid. She has such an imagination and is so funny. It´s so much fun to chat with her about this and that.

Micah is now in second grade.
He is doing great in school and he  is very good at math in particular.
He is a sensitive boy with a great sense of humor!
                                                       

I´m so proud of them both.

Last fall, I was doing some catching up with studying.
I completed my college eligibility with Religion which was what I needed for that, and added psychology and  `pedagogic leadership´. Subjects I might find useful for further studies if that happens.
And now I´m looking for a part time job.

Not sure how long til next post will appear here but it was nice to check back in for a bit and get a feel for blogging again.

Fall 2012

Continuing with my updates from last year..
Fall came, and so did some big changes. (This will be my next blog post.)

I went for another cruise with my sister (very affordable here) and we went for two days to Helsinki. It was something she had wished for since that was the designers capital of 2012. She is very in to that :)
We had a lovely time, and the ship was really fancy! nothing like what I have ever seen on any cruise before. I need to go with Josh there as it was very romantic too :)
Helsinki is beautiful, and we just strolled around a bit. Shopped, ate, had coffee and looked around.

On Halloween , Micah went for his first "trick or treating". halloween has just begun to get big here in Sweden, but still, very little people are prepared with candy when you ring their door bell.
Micah choose to be a creepy mummy. But when we came out the door, and he saw some "scream" masks and got a bit scared, He took off his own mask and siad that he didn´t want anyone to be scared of him the way he just got scared :)

October came with another celebration. On the 18th , Josh and I had been married for ten years!!
We went to Stockholm together, and had a lovely celebration at a fancy restaurant on our weddingday.

summer 2012

I suck at making collages. But I tried to collect some of my very few photos I have from the past summer. I almost didn´t take out my camera at all, so the photos are either taken with my Iphone, or taken by someone else.

We tried to be out as much as possible. It was kind of a depressing summer, weatherwise, but we tried. We went to the movie with Micah for the first time, we had pizza in the court yard, and we even sat out at the play ground thru some rain. We just had to use umbrellas. (ok, we gave up after 15 minutes, but we tried).
One day when it felt sort of warm, we went to the fake lake. It got cold.And the kids we went with ended up being covered in leaches :o  So we didn´t go back.
Compared to the summer before that, it was a little miserable. I love the heat. Yes, I do. I´d rather sweat than freeze!!! And I didn´t sweat last summer. Just a few days in May (ahh) -well, I don´t love sweat, I just rather be warm than chilly! If you get me.

One really fun thing we did, was taking a family cruise with our dear friends, the Vallgren family. Us three and them four, all in one car, we where off to Stockholm to take the ship to Åbo (finland) and back. We didn´t get of there, it was just like a floating hotel. That was the whole point.
We ate goood food. We played. we laughed. we went to story time with the famous finish characters from the stories about the Moomin Troll . We even went swimming on the ship! It was perfect :)
(so was the tax free shops).

Hoping for a warmer summer this year.. But it´s not looking good. It´s almost May, and the leaves has not even budded yet! I wish to sweat just a little at least ;)

oh my!

Oh My! I seem to have given up on blogging huh? Almost a year ago since I last posted , and there is much to say about the past year.
I haven´t hardly taken ANY photos :o It´s rediculous! But never too late to get going again :)
I´m thinking it requires for me to blog to be motivated sometimes. So I have something to take the photos for ;) 
Same with blogging. To blog, I need photos :)
But not today. And no updates on the past year right now either. This is just a post just to post :)

by the way.. I´m pondering to start a blog in Swedish too.. I would keep this one for updating my dear family and friends that don´t read Swedish, if they would like to.I don´t want anyone to feel "left out".
